Throughout the long history of the church, worship has been the Christian's first privilege and duty. God, who is worthy, is the central focus of the church's life and work. As we seek God's face through worship at First Presbyterian Church three issues are before us.

³ We gather to worship and exalt the risen Christ through whom the only hope of the world is found.
³ We gather to worship under the authority of the Bible, God's inspired word, which is trustworthy for all things in a modern world long ago lost in confusion.
³ We gather in worship to seek the work of the Holy Spirit that transforms us into the likeness of Jesus Christ and enables us to live in holiness in the world.
